A fatal shooting in Chicago left a man identified as 35-year-old Nikko Whitehead killed in Humboldt Park on Saturday night, authorities reported.
Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office disclosed that Whitehead sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body and was found in the 3300 block of West Franklin Boulevard around 11:10 p.m. According to reports, witnesses at the scene observed the shooting unfold, and here is some video footage documenting the incident that took place.
Additionally, Whitehead, also known as “Nikko,” was identified as a known member of the Vicelords gang based in Chicago. After being transported to Stroger Hospital, he was pronounced dead.
Nikko was featured on Chicago’s legendary drill blogger Zack TV‘s YouTube channel back in 2017 on an episode titled “Live From Chicago Ave (TVL’s)” and also played a role in a Chicago hood movie featuring Skinbone, who is also a popular Chicago youtuber called Shooters. Unfortunately, Zack TV was also shot and killed back in May of 2018.
